How the private household app handles information.
Information the app accesses
When you connect Gmail, Nute Control requests read-only access to your mailbox. Its email component reads message details and content to identify matters that may need attention. It may also process selected attachments to create financial records.
How information is used and stored
Nute Runtime runs on a household-controlled computer. Gmail credentials are stored in macOS Keychain. The application keeps operational state, notifications and records in local storage, and selected attachments may be stored in a private local library. Eligible appointment information may be used to update a local calendar under configured rules.
For some messages, a limited selection of message information may be sent to an AI provider to help assess whether action is needed. Gmail credentials and complete attachment files are not sent to the model. The provider handles information according to its own terms and policies.
Access and your choices
Only authorized household members can use the private application. A mailbox owner can revoke Nute Control’s access in their Google Account settings. Revoking access stops future Gmail reads; it does not automatically delete records already stored by the application. Contact the app owner to request deletion of information held by the application.
